Kerim Miskavi


MAS Architecture

Kerim Miskavi was born in Mersin, in 1989. He completed high school at Robert College in Istanbul and  received his professional architecture degree from Rice University. At pioneering international architecture firms, SO-IL, Mitchell Giurgola and Herzog & De Meuron, he served as a designer and project  lead for a diverse range of cultural and civic projects that have been exhibited in the Chicago Architecture  Biennial, Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum Triennale and published by the New York Times. 

Upon his return to Turkey in 2018, he founded MAS, an iterative, concept-driven design practice that  engages in projects of various scales and media. He has been awarded First Prize for Izmir University of  Economics Guzelbahce Campus and the Purchasing Award for Erenkoy Mental Health Hospital in national  design competitions. His completed projects have been selected for the Turkish Architecture Yearbook  and World Architecture Festival. As a firm believer in disciplinary engagement, he has taught an  undergraduate studio at Kadir Has University Faculty of Architecture, and previously served in juries at  Columbia University and Bilgi University. He continues his practice as the founder and design lead of MAS.
